KMC Solutions To Open New Cebu Office Space Next Month
Flexible office space provider KMC Solutions will open its new office space location at Cebu IT Park in September. The new site, which will add 970 seats to its current Cebu office space portfolio, will occupy the 16th and 17th floors of the new Skyrise 4B tower and offer plug-n-play capability with 24/7 onsite IT support. The Cebu site features large offices that can be partitioned down to a third of their size with retractable walls, booths designed for private calls or meetings, rooms for training or to be rented out to midsize sales teams, and hallway tables set up as co-working spaces.
Riccardo Corsini, KMC vice president for marketing and strategic partnerships, said the flexible space sector was an offshoot of the business process outsourcing industry. He noted that when the IT-BPO sector started in the Philippines 10 years ago, foreign firms seeking to outsource jobs were looking for office spaces that would let them expand and downscale within a short period, and that is when KMC started venturing into flexible workspaces. Apart from Cebu, KMC has also opened sites in Clark, BGC and Ortigas.
