In 2020, due to the COVID pandemic, the summit was held through an immersive virtual conference without the boring Zoom interviews and with lots of interaction.

OS2020 became a success – having a record attendance of 2,000 participants from different states, sectors, and business sizes. It was broadcast to the North American market and featured CEOs from top BPO companies and industry leaders.

OS2020 recap: The North American edition

OS2020 goals

The Outsourcing Summit 2020 aimed to reintroduce outsourcing to the North American market. This is important in building trust over small businesses and encouraging them to delegate their services offshore.

This edition brought to light the basic outsourcing questions such as:

• Getting up to 70% savings on costs while improving business processes
• Having access to a globalized talent and tapping the experience of the Philippine outsourcing market
• Busting common misconceptions and avoiding disappointments

Aside from this, one of the summit’s goals was to generate 100 outsourcing jobs for 100 clients who decided to sign up for the summit – all within the entire eight hours of the event.

Participants in the summit got the opportunity to try outsourcing in action through free trials on virtual assistant services. Discounts were also given to select entrepreneurs who want to connect to an outsourcing partner during the event.
