In terms of sourcing AI LLM talents, Vlad stated, “We really have to be creative in sourcing them, going out to all the other universities across the Philippines, even those that are not really well known.”

The Philippines offers a vast pool of untapped talent. Vlad shared his insights from his experience visiting universities across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

“It’s something of a revelation when we visited all those universities… [Talents] actually are available. They just don’t know that there’s a job like this in AI LLM space that they can also apply for,” he explained.

This discovery highlights a significant opportunity for both employers and job seekers. For instance, law graduates in the Philippines traditionally pursue careers in government or corporate law.

However, through career talks and engagement initiatives, students are becoming aware of the opportunities in AI LLM. As Vlad mentioned, if talents want to shift careers, people know that they can have a long-term career in AI LLM.
