What is the Information Communication and Technology Association of Uganda?
The Information Communication and Technology Association of Uganda (ICTAU) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the information and communication technology (ICT) sector in Uganda.
It aims to promote the use and development of ICT in various sectors and support the interests of ICT professionals and businesses. ICTAU also contributes to the creation of a conducive environment for technological innovation and growth in Uganda.

The Uganda ICT Association aims to:
1. Develop a strong brand proposition for Uganda’s ICT sector.

2. Promote a competitive ICT industry in Uganda.
- Enhance the growth and competitiveness of the ICT sector through various initiatives and strategies.
3. Cultivate world-class ICT institutions in Uganda.
- Strengthen professionalism and excellence in Ugandan ICT institutions.
- Position the ICT Association as a global leader in innovation.
- Serve as a key partner in the governance and implementation of e-systems initiatives.
- Accelerate the development of ICT skills in secondary and tertiary institutions.
- Establish formal partnerships with stakeholders in the ICT sector.
4. Drive a national system of innovation.
- Launch and promote a national system of innovation to support technological progress and innovation in the country.
5. Expand ICT access and adoption.
